Private Client III

This custom home design by our team considers the steep terrain of its location and unrestricted surrounding views.

A core Nanke principle: designing residences that appear effortlessly integrated into their environment as if someone naturally placed them onto their lot from above.

Design Strategy:

Homeowners can enjoy the scenery with seamless access to outdoor patio spaces and large windows that allow natural light to fill the space. Two intersecting shed roofs offer minimal obstruction possible to the surrounding setting.

Our team thoughtfully oriented each interior room to maximize the sunlight throughout the day. The primary bedroom captures the gentle morning sun from the east, while the garage shields the residence from the intense Arizona sunset in the west.

The art of intentionality breathes this home into being. The interior columns play a significant role in our strategy of unobstructed views, along with delivering the impression of a lightweight house that almost floats yet is all-encompassing at the same time.

The open site plan — free of hallways — maximizes square footage and enhances the overall ambiance.
